St Joseph's stepped back in time 100 years last Friday when the whole school celebrated the canonisation of Blessed Mary
MacKillop. The children experienced school life as it was for children of St Mary's time. They dressed in period costume, studied and played 'old fashioned' lessons and games, and spent the day following old customs and classroom etiquette. The whole school
participated in a special liturgy in the Church to honour St Mary and the Preps made a lively processional entrance when they brought in all their contributions of stationary for the poor of East
Timor. It was a fantastic day!
